Can someone help me. I have a 1984 Catalina 281 with twin 230hp. WOT rpms are around 3500. The manual says WOT should be around 4000-4400 rpms. I have 12" props with the number 3217 on them. What size props are best for this boat? Do you think they were changed? |

If you go with Michigan Propellers, the correct ones would be:Left-#310593, Right-#310592. These would be Michigan Dyna-Jet Cup Nibral. The size is 13x11. I have a 1985 281 and that is what the boat calls for. |

I replaced the 305's with 350's but left the original props on the boat. WOT is 4600. I cruise @ 3000rpm and go 21 mph. |

I have 305's and cruise @2800rpm and go 28 mph, does that sound right |
