As I have been taking apart my CC 283/327 engine I have found by checking casting numbers that one of the heads has a volume of 60cc and the other 69.4. The other numbers (1.72/1.5) are the same. Is this a problem?

yes it's unusual because the smaller volume on one side is producing more power than the other side. If you want the motor to run well, they need to be the same volume
