Spark plug/timing questions-350Q-BL15 1974-75 eng. Are there better/improved plug types for this eng? Why only .028 Gap? I Have installed accel 3400series duel-point dists.and 8mm wires.#2.When drilled mark on flywheel is at pointer,is that T.D.C.or exact.10 degrees advanced?

Hello Ron,
The Q motors open up a whole can of worms, as far as the information for timing, parts, etc., because the cylinder identification is different from any other GM small block, and there are quite a few idiosyncracies. It's a great motor, but you can't rely on automotive small block culture to get you by.
