G'day all,

I realise that this site is designed to cater for the mechanical side of things, and my boat is partly mechanical, but I was wondering if anyone out there might have the Specifications, measurements and schematics of a 1972 or 1973 Chris-Craft Sportsman 16 Gull Wing.

I have the vessel here in Australia, and stripped it out before it left USA, as the wooden framework and Boyancy Foamwork inside it was totally rotten, and filled with Carpenter Ants.

I am ready to reinstall the seats but the pictures I took really don't give me what I want as a reference, and I cannot find anywhere on the Internet anything that I would like to see.

There are pictures and the like, but I would like a bit more than that.

Any assistance appreciated.

Thanks,

Bruce.

PS. Anyone have a spare Owners Manual that might have come with them when they were new?

G'day to you
Here is a link to the archives of the Chris Craft company at the Mariners Museum in Hampton Road, VA. http://www.mariner.org/library/chriscraft/index.php
This is a gold mine, happy digging!
You could also try the Antique and Classic Boat Society (ACBS) http://www.acbs.org/

Thanks Lukey,

I have tried joining up with the Chris Craft Club, but for some unknown reason, I can get everything done, but when it comes to paying via Visa Card, it gets rejected.

Will perservere though.

Bruce.

Further, does anyone know what these crafts were rated at by the Factory for Occupancy Limits?

Thanks,

Bruce.

I made a bit of a mistake when writing up the heading.

I should have written Seasport 16.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

Bruce.
