I have looked but can't find a source on how to replace the raw water impeller on the starboard side on my 1984 Chris Craft Catalina 291. It has 2 Mercruiser 230's. I have tried taking out the side panel and getting down in between the motor and the outside of the boat, but no way to lie down because of the gas tank..Any help would be greatly aprreciated...Thanks |

Jeff's Law: Any morons who design a nightmare to work on should be required to work on it themselves!
Put that rule in effect and impossible to repair nightmares like yours would vanish immediately.

PS: Just changed the plugs on a Pontiac Fiero V-6: had to remove the hood to get to the rear (front) plugs--and then I could only work by feel! No frakin' way I could SEE them! |
