my exhaust manifolds are currently salt water cooled. i'm likely going to be replacing them with new manifolds and risers. is it possible to put create a completely closed system and fresh water cool the new manifolds? i have the log style manifolds right now? anybody done this? suggestions? |

Yes IF your motor is already F W Cooled. You need to block off where the water would go downstream to the elbows/ risers and rearrange a few hoses. And, from what I've seen, your present heat exchanger can carry the load. Jeff |

Hi Jeff, yes, my motor is fresh water cooled. but, the exhaust manifolds are raw water (salt water) cooled. I'll try and take some pics of how my system is setup now this weekend. |
