HI guys,
I'm chasing a starter for a mates 2003 25hp Mercury Seapro.
I got onto a dealer in the USA who says he has the correct starter for the outboard but the measurements he gave are to big to go into the correct position.
Did this particulat motor have 2 different starters, one being for when the gear leaver is attached to the side of the motor and the other being when the gear leaver is incorperated in the tiller handle.
Would anyone help me out with some part numbers or a contact where I could get the correct unit.
The guy I have contacted in the USA is adament that this is the correct starter but the measurements he gave will have it sitting on top of the bracket that comes through the side of the motor.
