Came in and tied up after a 2hr run on the boat. Went below deck to check up on the transmission leak and found only spray like before. How ever upon lifting my engine access hatch I found a nice shiny 5/8 stainless nut just sitting on my battery cover between both engines..Arggggggggg now I have to crawl around and see whats missing or if it just fell out of my tool bag when checking my transmission leak. Damn.. |

If the 5/8's is the thread size, I can't think of any fittings like that on the Chevy engine. |

went through the same thing and it WAS a bolt out of my sweatshirt pocket,but the 2 hours of looking did bring some issues to my attention that I may not have seen otherwise soooooo ...! |

The best clue may have been the "shiny" part. After 4 seasons of REALLY cleaning and working in that mini space, I still have not found anything shiny that had been there previously. |
