It is a B.O.A.T. bring out another thousand. So start with money. After that; plugs, plug wires, cap rotor and points if equipped, belts, fuel filter, engine oil, hose clamps, fuses, wire & wire nuts, tools, flash light, duct tape, zip ties, an assortment of nuts bolts & washers. I am sure there are a number of things I have over looked also. And for the money, make it lots. |

You might add to that: raw water impeller, oil filter, assorted hoses, electrical wire, odd tools and that stretchy silicone emergency tape ( I bought it at a boat show once..but the stuff REALLY worked on a boat that developed a stern drive exhaust hose leak) |

A working radio and cell phone is where I start.Help is always around you as long as you can ask.Fuel/water seperators are a must along with thermostat.Depends a lot on your boating style. If you only trvel a few miles with friends...not really a biggy.I like longer runs alone so I carry spare carb, starters, alt.,props, fuel pump,ac pump, raw water pump with fittings for quick switch, circulation pump, plugs, wires, distributer, module, and lots of misc. stuff.Dan,its what you feel comfortable with basicly. As I started...help is always around....Todd |
