Sounds (and looks) like an old Ford Cortina engine from the late 60's hooked to an OMC electric shift stern drive.

high profile with tru course steering, so that would make it mid to late 70's drive.

Don't see any motor, but it's a oversees motor.

Sorry Chiefalen, It is a Low Profile Drive. Anyway, he has a four cylinder not a V6 or V8.

could be low profile. Does have tru course steering for sure.

May i ask whats the deal, you going to try and get the boat going, fix it up and use it?

To narrow it down
The split gearcase disappeared in 72.
In 1970, the power rating was changed from 80 to 90.
I would stay with an late 60.
