What type of oil should I put in my 1985 OMC drive. I know there is three places.I lent my book to a buddy and I would like to put my boat away for the winter. All is done but for the oil. I think it is type c But I think there was one type for the lower part.
And yes Bob I do have one buddy. I think

all 3 " places " If it says marine on it and gear oil will be ok.

Me i put the cheapest gear oil i can get at wally world, tech something blue gallon bottle.

But then again i put only 25-30 hours on my boat a year and drain it mid season, and refill.

P.S I have the same year drive as you.
