I have a small amount of gear oil leaking from the prop shaft seals. I am going to attempt to tackle this myself this weekend unfortunately without the guidance of the shop manual. (I ordered it but it will not be in by Saturday) Any special tools needed? Any pointers would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! |

Be very careful with the torque on the bolts. If I recall, the torque is in "inches" not "feet" - so very, very little torque required. If you tighten too much and strip, the repair is a bear. |
