Hello all. I have a 1973 omc 140 sterndrive. I would like to get a repair manuel. I cannot find any numbers that match the model or serial on the sterndrive. Model# 980608 and serial#W01399. I would like any help!.THANK YOU. Oh and the #'s are right i even got my reading glasses on! |

Did a search on BRP's search engine, and no "980###" model #'s came up. I'm not an expert. All the model #'s I've seen begin with 990###. Know this isn't all that helpful. Sounds like this is where you looked, but I found my drive model# on the port side valve cover.

I took these #'s directly off the tag on the sterndrive it self. So i'am guessing i have to take them off the motor? Thanks |
