Ok the weak 2.3lt 120hp (a total dog) blew a rod now I'm stepping up to a 3.0lt 140hp one ford to another, I was told that this is a direct drop in. I got a great price for the new motor complete $2995 this is not a reman but new oldstock is this just a dropin...........Jim |

nope - 3.0 is not a direct drop in - far from it and 3.0 is a GM engine not a Ford... bail on the deal - whoever is selling that unit doesn't know their left tit from page 4 |

The motor is coming from doug russel marine they said this perticular 3lt is a Ford 140 not GM, All the paper work for this motor from merc say's 3.0lt ford 140hp is someone messing with me.........Jim |

paper work? let's see it....no 3.0 Ford marine engine... ask Russell's if sasquatch, the tooth fairy and santa claus will help you install it |
