I have a 1895 OMC 4 cyl. that is over heating with the garden hose hooked up. There is no water going through the motor even with the water pressure from the hose. Should there be ? Or dose this mean I need a new water pump. |

impeller is around $15 last time I bought one, about $50 for the kit with the housing. 2.5 hours to install.... |

Now for the hard part. If I get the water pump kit dose it have all the gaskits I will need? |

there are no gaskets - There is 1 o-ring around the housing if you get the full kit - and will also come with new driveshaft grease seal- the manual calls for a non hardening permatex type sealant. |

I'm in Lindsay, but no I don't know anyone closer that I would trust. If you remove the drive yourself you can take it to TC Electronics and marine in Scarborough... you could call them- I don't think they work on boats there - just drives. they know what they're doing though. |
