I am about to change my spark plug leeds and would like to know if its a good idea to get silicon leeds or copper wire leeds. Is there a preferance that I should use. Stan |

Copper refers to the inner wire and silicon to the outer insulation jacket. Copper isn't the best idea for long term use in a marine environment. Stainless steel and/or graphite seems to be preferred. The aftermarket companies that supply marine wires have a pretty good description of their plug wires so my feeling is that something comparable should work just fine. |
