I am wondering if anyone has a cross reference for the Michigan Wheel Props that do not have the diameter and pitch stamped on them. For example, what is SMC 221? Where do I find diameter and pitch? I cannot find any reference, and I would like to have access to these older props since my Bayliner is a 1983. Thanks! |

I haven't been able to find a chart but did find a few references on ebay. Some of the sellers will have the prop size listed with the Michigan wheel numbers. For example: SMC 288 is a 15" x 17 pitch. Can't vouch for the accuracy but at least it's something. |

A prop repair facility will be able to identify it for you. If it needs to be tuned, it will be going there anyway!
Ask that they "Stamp" it!

The guys at Tacoma propeller were real helpfull when I asked them to I.D a Mich. Wheel volvo prop, SMC 548, for me. 14X19 standard shaft. |
