I presently have old Volvo MD29A diesels with 250 out drives and I'm switching to gas (tired of looking for parts).
Will the AQ 131's pair easily with my 250's or will I need an "adapter kit"?
I've got a line on a complete 131/275 package and am looking for another, but if they will work with my 250's my life would be a whole lot easier.
Thanks in advance for any help you can give me.

No issues with the 250's, IMO.
The issue may be in the lower unit over-all gear ratio.
The 4 banger gassers are going to want the 2.15:1 ratio lower units. I have a pair of them if interested.
