Year model is 89 and the pressure reading I get is maxing out the gauge (Medallion - range from 0-80 psi). I bought the boat end of last summer and don't remember what it was reading then. I just finished some clean up and maintenance on the boat, including removing and cleaning up the oil pressure and water temp sensors. I suspect a bad gauge or sender unit, but should I look for anything else? |

Look at the sender or at the sender wire being grounded. |

Thanks, will check the wiring. Upon closer examination, the sender seems to be leaking oil - I cleaned it up in June and after last week's outing I now find it wet with oil. |
