I need some quick help. I am installing a newly rebuilt head on my motor. It came from a great machine shop with a note “Cam seal not installed” I bought the seal and about 50 other parts and seals to complete the entire project. I am not sure which way the seal installs. Which side in, the side with the cup and spring or does that face out. The interior is tapered and seems to want to in with the cup and spring out, I am just not sure. Please help.

Install the seal with the spring towards the cams side. |
