where would be a good place to get oil cooler lines? 7.4 inboard motor with cooler in the water line... |

my oil cooler doesnt have the adapter, they are run directly into the block. and there is only 2 of them. directly from the cooler to block. on a big block race car i bought fittings(which i have) and bought high pressure line. long time ago but dont remember ever having problems.. |

Perhaps if you had posted your Volvo Penta model and year I could have provided you with a better schematic. Unfortunately, I am just shooting in the dark based on the scarce information you have provided. Anyway, I'll try again:

sorry bout that i just thought if someone knew of a place to get oil lines made. the boat is a 76 searay 7.4 290 outdrive. your first schematic is the one i believe that was originaly installed in my boat. it has a later model engine in which i am sure now after looking at that schematic, the hoses were adapted to the oil cooler fittings on the block. i think i could use a couple of the hoses pictured in that schematic.. thanks for the help. i will use that schematic and have something to go for ...kc |
