hi all. i have a 97 Volvo penta 4.3 with the cobra outdrive that is blown. Id like to put a chevy 350 V8 in it. Other than exhaust manifolds are there any surprises left. like motor mounts , hub and such. Im thinking it should bolt right in and just have to make the exhaust work. Any info on this would be appreciated
thanks

New forward engine mounts will be needed.

is that the mount on the engine or the one bolted down to the fiberglass. I was hoping i would not have to do any glass work for mounts
thanks

I'm afraid fiberglass work might be needed. It all depends on the present mounts. If the boat has been sold with options of both V6 and V8, You might be lucky.
