I believe it is a 2000, 5.7 with throttle body type fuel injection. The boat has sat for a while and the injectors seem to be stuck. Does anyone know how to "hotwire" the injectors to unstick them. There is a pink wire to each injector and a white w green stripe on the port injector, and white w tan on the starbord injector. The plugs to the injectors have a letter A on the white wire side and a letter B on the pink wire side.
I know there is a way to sent 12 volts to them to unstick them, just not sure which should be hot and which is ground. |

Pierce the pink wire with a 12V test light while a friend cranks over the boat. If the injectors are receiving pulses from the ECM the light will blink. If the light is not blinking the injectors are not receiving power.
Start here before you attempt 'unsticking' them by feeding them 12 volts. |
