I keep hearing the high speed fuel pump start running.
Runs good at low speeds but not at high speed.
About 3000 RPM it starts surging I then take it down to an idle and it seems to catch up on fuel,it then runs a couple hundred yards and starts over again.I have replaced the fuel filter cartage.
Help !!!!! |

Sound like a sticky anti siphon valve on the fuel tank. Water in the fuel causing low flow thru the pick up tube. Have the pressure cheked on the high pressure side of fuel pump before you burn up $700. Just mt two cents |

that valve is only 3 dollars, i'd replace that first.
If you want to be sure, stick a hose going to your fuel pumps into a portable fuel gas can and see if the problem still happens. If it does then start looking at your fuel pumps.
also, have you checked the injectors are clean? |
