If you are not going to rebuild your current one, I really am in need of a connecting rod. I would be willing to buy one of yours.
Thanks,
Dave

I believe All of the b20's are the same. What aq did they come from? And what year if you know. Thanks for helping.

David, not all the AQ130s were created equal. Earlier versions had pistons with 22 mm wrist pins and later versions had 24 mm wrist pins. Therefore, they used different types of con rods.

I need a 24mm, John I emailed you. Maybe I can still get the boat in by summer. I had almost given up.

Dave, if thigs go "really bad", you can also consider installing a complete OHC engine (Aq131, AQ140, AQ151, AQ125, etc). They are FWC and they are somewhat newer than the B20. Just a thought.

El,
I considered that, I have twin aq130c's, I even found a guy that had two 125's, but I think I would be going down in hp, and it seemed like a lot of work. That was before I started searching for parts for the 130. But I am almost there, just need a connecting rod and I'm done. Its been a really learning experience for me, rebuilding the engine. I can now visualize how everything works. And this time I will keep a closer eye on the oil. The old one had a small pinhole leak in the oil pan, someone had epoxied a piece of metal to it. Didn't work though.
