I will be installing a heater that will run off of the hot closed cooling system on my Volvo V8 (AQ260) where do I take the water from and return to?

Hi,
In the intake manifold, by the thermostat housing, there should be a threaded plug. You can remove that plug and install an isolation valve and a fitting where to attach the hose supplying the hot water to the heater core. Then, on the circulating pump, there is another plug. You can remove it, install an isoltion valve, and a fitting where to attach the hose with the water leaving the heater core.
That's it. |
