Is there some sort of rubber sealant that is recommended to be applied when fitting the universal joint bellows. Or should they be fitted as they come with just a new clamp? |

I suggest you use either Loctite Gasket Sealant or Perfect Seal. Mercruiser recommends bellows cement. Either compound will assist in the sealing and prevent corrosion in the bellhousing and outdrive areas in contact with the bellows. |
