Had my outdrive pulled due to a bad gimabal bearing. Now back from the shop, my trim gauge goes wild when trimming the drive but reads true when not hitting the trim switch (this did not happen prior to drive being pulled). Did something get screwed up when the drive was removed/replaced or is this just a coincidence?

Are there any electronics between the gauge on your dash and the gizmo that is attached to the leg (the outrdrive)? My Trim gauge is knackered and I am trying to work out if its the gauge, the gizmo on the leg or another component I cant see. |
