Hello,On a 470 merc 4cyl on the viberation dampener/stator I switched to a altenator does the magnets have to be in the viberation dampener a coulple broke during the engine rebuild the dampener is drilled for balance but it would be the same if all the magnets where out right.All magnets in or all magnets out right

Remove them all and the stator coil.
