First time I will be changing the plugs on a 470 4cyl motor... just curious if anyone has any recommendations (model #).

What ever is written on the valve cover or what the manufacturer reccomend.

Campion RV-9YC

AC R42TS

Gap .035"

Timing NO MORE THAN 4 degrees before TDC

Dwell 28-34 degree
point gap .022"

I would not trust what is in the engine without some history as someone mayhave just stuff in what they had.. check with Manufacturer suggestions first, then change as needed(hotter/colder depending on fuel and running conditions.

Totally with you, just thought Josh should know that what's in there may or may not be correct and give a clue as to why it may not be, the engine could have a oil burning problem and someone could've added hotter plugs to counter or colder plugs for a detonation issue.
