I need to know what would be the best prop for my Bravo 1,I would like to go with a SS four blade but I keep wondering as to what size and pitch I should use. I'm lookin for a good whole shot and smooth traveling. I have a 1989 Sea Ray 28DA Sundancer with a 7.4L 454 CID, 330 HP |

Thats alot of boat for any single engine. Got a prop shop near you that will allow you to try different sizes, some will as long as they know you will buy one in the end. I know there is a web site that lets you rent them for a little money till you find one that you like. I don't like ss they are called gear eaters for a reason you hit something they don't give. Al, will bend i found out the hard way but at least all i had to do was get the prop fixed i have seen outdrives made useless, shafts twisted. |
