SN 2072674 MC-1 with 2.5L. I am getting ready to assemble the upper and lower cases on the outdrive. I have been reading up on filling the outdrive with oil. Fill from the bottom with pump until oil level is at fill plug on upper house. How does the oil push up through the oil tube if the end of the oil tube has the upper case driven gear bearing cup sitting on the top end of the tube. Is the casing lip of the cup just above the oil tube? When I did the upper assembly it seemed like the cup sat right on top of this opening. Any hands on experience in this area would be appreciated. Best Regards, Tx Gals Dah 103 days to launch |

Not to worry ,the oil does get thru. Just remember to fill from the bottom untill it comes out the top. |

Man! You dont know what a load off my mind that is. Not a big deal but one of those things my brain just wont let go of til I get the info. Thanks too many for the quick reply. Any other tips of the trade I might want to look out for while assembling the two halves? Regards TxGalz Dah |
