Guys your thoughts on following-
I have 228 with 3 piece Y pipe and failed water shutters due to bloked risers.
Risers all sorted but I dont really want to have to pull the engine just to replace these water shutters.
I have collected all the parts and easly remove what is left of originals.
Can I simply convert to 4" shutters like later models and install in top end of Y pipe. Be interested to see if anyone else has done this exercise.
