Hi risers were changed 3 years ago and little amount of hours have been put on. Question does the riser have to be torqued down? Thanks for any replies! |

is it leaking? Another 2 years maybe you will have to change it out if used in saltwater. |

No it is not leaking, it is used in saltwater, pulled the riser for inspection looks very good, does this have to be torqued down and do you use gasket sealer? |

coat the studs/screws where they go thru the housing with sealer not the gasket surface. Just make sure the gasket surface is clean and smooth and use the correct gaskets and in the order in which they need to be if more than one. Put a small amount under the washers also as it will squeeze out but also seal good. |
