hello i have a 2004 merc 496 with a closed cooling system where and how do u go about changing the raw water pump any help is greatful thanks!!!! |

Ayuh,... I believe it's mounted Way down low, starboardside, forward on the motor,...
It's usually Best to pull the Whole Pump, then change it on the bench...
Just remember which hose goes where... |

pull the pump off, it is under left side of block when looking at the belts from front |
