I have a 1995 20' Sea Ray with a 350 Mercruiser Alpha One outdrive. When I am going slow in forward gear, the boat tends to wander left then right continuously. There is no trim tab on the cav plate because the prop is too big (14.25"/
21 pitch 3B Turbo One). Any remedies to this??

Have you looked for a "high performance" tab? They are "notched" to accomodate the larger propellers; in essence, the front half of the vertical surface has been reoved so only the aft half remains. |

No, no remedies. They all do it to some degree.
It's a function of the vee shape of the hull.
You might check the steering system to insure there isn't excess play in the helm, cable, and the swivel pin connection in the drive, which can wear and induce some slop. |
