Hi
I have a 1986 Merc 260HP / 5.7L unit. I can't read the s/n and I am wondering what the ratio would be without taking anything apart. I believe that Merc usually used a 1:47 in this application.

1.50 or 1.47 (depending on year) is used with most small block V-8's, including the 5.7.
Yours is most likely 1.50
The change to 1.47 occurred in 1996.
That is likely an Alpha One unit.
