Does anyone know where the pump is located? I am getting all kinds of different info. Is the pump and impeller in two different locations? |

Bravo has no pump in the drive leg, because the vertical shaft does not turn in neutral.
Your water pump is belt driven and should be low on the stbd side of the front of the engine.

thanks Rod...got it apart, I believe the parts store sold me the wrong part. The one they gave me is too big.
The old one was in really bad shape, nothing left. Almost looks as if it melted... |

Can you see a PN anywhere on whats left?
Sometimes it is molded into the rubber.
The uncompressed impeller is much larger than the housing it fits into. The blades curl and compress substantially.
