p.s. cooler i added p.s. to my mercruiser using an original assit ram i got on ebay a saginaw pump from napa bracket i built with hydro hoses made at local shop.all manuals talk about p.s. water cooled coolers.why is this needed.if so needed cant i use finned cooler with blower.i dont want to go to the trouble if not needed. |

Go skiing for a day and you'll coke (not cook) the fluid...get it hot enough to break it down to ruin your pump,PS unit, etc. Get an OE water cooled PS oil cooler and hoses from Merc. or this site.
