I bought a Caravelle 2004 23o Walk around at the end of last year. It has been in Panama City, FL since, so I've spent no time with it. I'd like to start it on muffs before putting it in the water. It has a Bravo 1 attached to a Mercruiser 5.7 MPI 300HP with closed cooling. There are 2 thru hull connections, but I have been unable to trace either back to the engine (not much room). It has side pickups for the muffs, but the openings run horizontally rather than vertically as shown in the manual. What are the chances that this has a thru hull pickup as well?? Thanks, |

You need to follow the belt-driven raw water pump suction hose (upper connection on the pump). It may go to either thru-hull pickups or back to the drive leg. Some have both. Rod |
