Sn on sticker is worn off . Not sure of year was repowerd from origional boat date ? Any sugestions ? Out drive is alphia one 260 V8 . Where can I look ? |

Carefully remove the SN sticker and look at it under a bright light w/a magnifying glass. Remnants of the # may be visible. |

If its a repower it should have a new metal SN tag rivetted to the block just in front of the starter on the stbd side, below the exhaust manifold.

Take a valve cover off.
Get the casting number off one of the cylinder heads.
Go to: http://www.mortec.com/
That should give the year of the cylinder heads. |
