I have recently aquired a Tohatsu B40A 25hp, 2 cylinder, 2 stroke in good condition but I have to change the gearbox bearing and seals as this engine was made between 1972-1976 manuals and spares seems to be a problem, especially in Africa. I need a manual PLEASE, can some one assist. My e-mail adres gennel@vodamail.co.za Thank You |

I have sent you the parts manual. There is no service manual available for an engine that old. |

Thank You for the effort. I received the parts manual and I should be able to refurbish the gearbox. Tell me by using the part numbers for the various seals/bearings in the gearbox do You think I will be able to get the spares in question? |

It shouldn't be a problem in the U.S, but the South African distributer will probably have to special order everything. |
