My 1987 Nissan 90 came to a stop and wouldn't rev up past a fast idle. I checked the fuel filter and it was clean. I discovered that the oil tank was low and filled it. Took it out for a spin and it ran great. My question is: Does this engine have a Rev limiter that kicks in when the oil level gets low? |

That model engine is equipped with an ESG, however, it does not activate on the low oil warning circuit. It is only supposed to activate on temp or water pressure problems. |
