i have a 1998 tohatsu 90 hp motor. two of the piston rings have blown. i have found a 2006 powerhead and block with fuel injection. I know there will probably be a few mods, but has anyone had any experience with these two different motors. is there any way the powerhead will match up to what i have. any help would be appreciated. thanks |

Where are you located? I'm surprised you found a blown 2006 anywhere. That's pretty rare(except for one commercial operator in Alaska that destroyed three or four right together) and the block would have been retrieved by Tohatsu for warranty analysis. |
