I have a 90hp Tohatsu outboard with no apparent serial # or model # any where on engine. Where should these numbers be located. I have photos of engine in ? but don't know how to post photo My email seafix3@pticom.com

They are on the tag on the support plate. The serial number is also on the engine block |

What do you mean by support plate? Where on engine block? We have had this engine torn down and found no numbers?

The engine support plate is the pan that goes around the engine powerhead. The engine cover attaches to it. The serial number is stamped somewhere on the block. Usually on the starboard side of it. |
