My Suzuki DF200 4 stroke gearbox failed at about 150 hrs. The lower tapered roller in the upper shaft bearing collapsed and the engine locked up.
Engine was just 2 yrs old and it was quickly fixed under warranty but no explanation of the cause. Ol level and cleanliness etc was fine and it didnt hit anything. Was running at 3500 rpm at the time and went suddenly with no warning.
Has this happened to anyone else with a 200, 225 or 250? |
