I'm having trouble with my 2001 DF115. It runs great at idle but not at high rpm- feels like its starving for fuel. I replaced the fuel/water seperator, the bulb and have looked for air leaks- any other ideas before I break down and take it to the dealer?

Hi Ryan
I was wondering if you found a solution to your problem as I'm having the same trouble with my 2004 Johnson 115 4 stroke. Like you engine it idles fine but a high rpm feels likes its straving for fuel. I've tried numerous of things but nothing seems to be working. Even had it hooked up to a engine fault computer and no faults were found. If you have any information on what the problem is I would be very appreciative as I'm pulling my hair out.
Thanks very much

These fuel lines usually get kinked or pinched where the lower pan is removed to change oil filter.
