I just bought a boat with a '00 suzuki 200hp engine. It runs fine, but idles very low and frequently cuts off when its idleing. The longer the boat is used the more frequently it cuts off. Is it a big deal to adjust the idle? And how do you go about doing that? |

you can adjust the idle screw on the motor, or on some there may be a idle adjustment on the throttle contol box as well. You shouldnt have to turn it more than a turn in a half or two to see a differance. Just make sure that the idle screw itself dosnt vibrate loose or you will have the same problem. |
