Trying to find out where to hook up the hose on the motor. Everybody said it was easy but I am not having any luck. Its a 1988 Dt40. Thanks for any help. |

Is your motor having a over heating issue? Just flush your engine and check the water flow from hub and other ports if the water flow is strong it should be fine (rev it up and down as the water flow will change with higher RPM's and flow faster) if no poor or no water flow shut your engine down and replace you impeller. Impellers should be changed every year and are cheep. Remember that lower unit flush muffs are good but when the lower unit is fully submerged it will suck water through you impeller much better. |
