Until recently, my 1985 DT55 Suzuke ran grate. Three days ago my temperature light that is accompanied with audible warning beeps did not cancel after 15 seconds as usual.
I checked to make sure the pee stream was strong and water was coming out of the exhaust indicating good water circulation.
Maybe it’s a false reading, I think, so I attempted to plane out. Motor sounds different, runs terrible and “Over Rev” warning light comes on if I don’t reduce rpm’s.
Yesterday I replaced the water pump thinking a new pump might fix the problem. Turns out to be wasted money.
What is wrong with my Betsy? |

might be poppet, t stt or bd sensor |

It pains me to admit that I have no idea what the poppet, t, stt, or bd sensor are.
Are we talking about the oil sensor?

First of all I want to thank you for taking the time to try and help people like me. Please know that your help is appreciated.
So what you are telling me is that I need a new Oil Sensor?

you need to test things first before blowing your money on good parts
buy the factory manual is the best tool and anybodies tool box |
